Woodline Budgies 3 of 3
Переглядів 15 тис.10 років тому
This long overdue footage, courtesy of Vasil Kurtseba, shows just how many budgerigars visited the camp at Woodline, Western Australia, in November 2011. They are all wild. We have since learned that they were all juveniles, but we have not got any explanation for their curiosity and lack of fear. A few hours later they were gone and we never saw them again.
More Budgies from Woodline
Переглядів 39 тис.10 років тому
It is high time that I provided some context to the first Woodline Budgie Video. This footage shows more birds that are not quite as tame as the amazing footage posted last year. In this short clip, the birds allow close approaches but when the get startled they fly to a nearby tree before returning. I will upload one more high-res video soon which shows that there were hundreds of birds there ...

Courtesy of Rob Wood - driller on Woodline gold exploration Project: Wild budgerigars behaving in the most extraordinary way !! 2017 and Time For Some Further Explanation. I don't check this video often and am amazed to see how many people have seen it. Thanks for all the nice feedback. Scrolling through the comments, there are some recurring questions and statements. 1. Yes the birds are wild....
Literal Harry Potter Parody

A parody of a parody. This is the greatest Harry Potter trailer ever made. To make sense of this small screen sensation you might need to watch "Literal Harry Potter" first. Enjoy!
Siegi on Quad Bike

Siegi is a farmer in Dorrigo. He broke a lumbar vertebrae and spent two weeks recovering in Coffs Harbour Hospital. He was very keen to get back to work and this was his solution
If the wild budgies knew how dangerous human could be, locked them in cages, no sun room, clipped the wings. Human can do anything for their own pleasure 😢 How sad 😔 Thank you for sharing your videos ❤
Wow amazing❤❤
Wow amazing that they let you pat them. Those wild budgies are so adorable and beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
please don't stroke a bird on its back, it will think you want to mate.
I always come back to this video when I need to feel better after a hard day
For those of you wondering why they're acting so "tame", these are very young budgies that are still practicing how to fly. That's why they are chubbier than full-grown adult budgies lol
Survival instinct of a potato
Çok tatlı
honestly i would've kidnapped them
They are looking for water and mistake the glass for it. They seem exhausted. That is not tame. That's really thirsty.
These budgies are still babies. At this age, almost all budgies are tame. Later in their teenage years they will no longer be so tame. Once they get past that teenage phase, if you're lucky, they'll become tame.
they are just a baby🎀🥹
I wonder why don’t people plant parrot safe shrubbery in their aviary?
They’re all very young. You can tell that these little birbs are no more than a year old or so ❤
Мужчина трогает птенцов.Они доверчивые и любопытные и легко приучаются к рукам.
If A budgie landed on my hand I would be like you’re my friend now we’re having soft tacos later😅
Litteral 0 survival instinct
The fact that wild ones are more tame than the bird i got for over 6 years 😮
❤
These are surprisingly tame for wild birds. Every time I tried to pet mine, it drew blood.
Hey, look, free birds, there for the taking!
*nice*
Hehe they're so cute....That one budgie feels like I'm the Chosen One! 😂
think the one he picked up is sick and the others were concerned for it
Почему они не боятся???
NAH HE STOLE A BUDGIE I SWEAR ☠️☠️
I think this parrot is sick.
idk if this is true but isnt petting them on their back like asking them to mate?
I love my budgie her name is Bernadette she's a sweet heart when I die I want to go to budgie heaven
Are all budgies supposed to be like this? Cs mine absolutely hate my guts 😭🤷♀️
Please never pet a budgie in the back, they only do that when mating 😭
How many times did it 💩 on your hand 😂
Awsome.
SO CUTE
Apart from on tiny islands with no mammals, does anyone know of a small wild bird as tame as budgies?
I don't think that these Budgies are completely wild. They must be semi domesticated. A fully wild Budgie would not allow itself to be petted. Least of all getting picked up like that.
They are so lovely, my pet Budgie would lose his shit if he met these wonderful friends
1:45 most tame birds wont let you hold them like that
True, unless they're baby budgerigars like the one in the video 😂 Most tame adult budgies would try to wriggle out of your grasp, if/when held like that, lol
That's to sweet💓
So stinking CUTE
i’m surprised that the camera quality is good even 12 years ago
My pet budgie was very social. We'd let it fly in a bedroom for exercise but it was easy to get back in the cage. Later in life, when I had an aviary of 40 or so budgies, none of them were social to humans. You couldn't get near them (except for someone's escaped budgie who found the aviary and we let it in). They were extremely social with each other. The one that wanted in was very good to a more elderly female who couldn't fly. He would feed it (regurgitating food) and when she was climbing the wire from the seed bowls, he would climb with her chatting away until she reached the perches.
i love them so muich
the one you caught was a baby!
🥰
Lol, so cute 😍😍😍😘
Wow. Very curious animals
This was a really cool video how tame those lively little birds are to being held and petted! I used to have budgies as pets. But too bad this video had to be sullied with f-bombs near the end. Could he have at least bleeped them out? Like falling into a pleasant sleep, only to have someone light an M-80 firecracker 10 feet away.....
That’s pretty awesome bro
Поспать не дают! 😡
